It's super easy and just requires common sense. This is my first time using a vacuum sealer and it works as described, better than I expected, and like most of them, I got 5 seals out of the box.
So if you order, be aware of that. I was sent another one, but it's black now, without the strip. I haven't actually used it yet, but I wanted people to know that the heating element no longer has the copper strip. I ordered one this week, but returned it because it didn't have the copper strip. I called and they told me it's now black.
It works consistently and seals well. It's a really high quality Food Saver. I got rid of my Food Saver brand sealer for this one and this is 1000x better than that one.
I was so impressed, I read the instructions, opened the package, wiped down the machine, and started vacuum packing about 15 pounds of meat.
